Learn How Technology Is Changing Craft Beer Next Monday

I wanted to let you know about an event that I have been working on since June. It is called OctoBeerTech, and combines my passion for technology and craft beer. I teamed up with my friends at New Tech PDX to leverage their platform to promote the advancement of technology in the craft beer industry. Please join me next Monday, October, 16th from 5:30-8:30 pm. Each presenter will do a 5-minute presentation followed by a short Q & A. And yes there will be beer there provided by Widmer Brother Brewing. Read on for more information about the event.

As many of you know beer and technology are my passions. In fact, my last company Taplister was the culmination of these passions. Back in June, I approached my friend Thubten Comerford, the co-founder of NewTech PDX about putting together a beer and technology themed event For the past several years NewTech PDX has put together community-based tech events ranging from car tech to civil tech. So why not beer. Like curating a balanced tap list, for this event, I want to curate a variety of northwest grown tech companies from breweries to beer appliances. Please join me and other beer and tech enthusiasts next Monday from 5:30 - 8:00 pm at New Relic for this informative and fun event. Buy your tickets now and save and read on for the full details.
