Portland Beer Week Starts Today: 8 Not To Miss Events

Portland Beer Week the 11-day (June 8th-18th) event that I have been involved in for seven years and founded by Ezra Johnson-Greenough of the New School Beer Blog officially starts today. My first year of Portland Beer Week I put together a Sushi and Beer Pairing event at Roscoes with my friend Ritch Marvin. The next year I started the rye beer fest. And over the years I have been involved in a number of other events. There are over 100 events going on this year and really something for everyone. Here are 8 must attend events, yes I am involved in a few of these, but I will not lead you astray.

Kells Brew Pub in Northwest Portland rebrands itself at Kells Brewery

Kells Brew Pub, located at 201 NW 21st Ave., has rebranded itself as Kells Brewery, including the introduction of a new logo, an updated website, and renamed social media handles.

Originally established in August of 2012, Kells Brewery has seen massive success over the last five years. Its original intent was to produce three styles of beer in-house for the Kells restaurants in Portland and Seattle.
