Beer Heard brings together the people and technology that innovates the craft beer industry.
In 2009, Kerry combined his passion for marketing, technology and craft beer when he founded Taplister, a beer discovery and marketing platform. Since then, Kerry has worked as a consultant in various roles– ranging from sales to product development to marketing at companies like Mark Anthony Brands and Groupon. Although he sold the majority interest in Taplister in the fall of 2014, he is still working for the company as a consultant. Kerry stays active in the beer community through his regular radio appearances, speaking engagements, creation of beer events and by sampling some of the best beers in the world. Kerry has 10 years of experience in hospitality/craft beer and was named 1 of 5 People “Reinventing The Joy Of Drinking Beer” by Mix Magazine. He sits on the board of Portland Beer Week and is a devout craft beer evangelist. Beerheard was created as Kerry’s next chapter in combining his love for craft beer and technology. Beerheard brings together the people and technology that innovates the craft beer industry. Our focus is two fold. 1. To provide craft beer entereprenuers insight into how to leverage technology and creativity to stand out from the fast growing and competitive industry that craft beer is coming. 2. To provide consumers the fun yet informative side of the beer world from novelties like beer serving robots to the latest and greatest must have beer apps. And so the journey begins.
